Tara is the lead acupuncturist at Durham Integrative Health and Acupuncture clinic. She has been practicing massage and bodywork since 1995, studying herbal medicine since 1996 and began her training in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine in 2011. Tara loves coming to work, loves what she does and truly believes in the body’s ability to heal itself through acupuncture, bodywork, herbs, nutrition and deepening our connections to ourselves, our communities and the earth.

Carrie Wise is a bodyworker, healer and a retired midwife, her work reflects the energy of birth. Her style of bodywork is rooted in the teachings and form of Sacred Lomi, an ancient and living healing practice. It includes tending the physical body with massage with while also honoring and welcoming the non-physical parts of ourselves. In conjunction with the bodywork, she simultaneously use vocal toning.
